Not a Tacoma, but built a rack with a buddy yesterday for my crawler turning EAF. Do I earn cool kid points for the new bedrack? Added mounts for my rotopax on each side, along with a hilift mount up by the cab.

Sweet rig! I've always wondered with lifting Rangers do you have to swap out the semi-independent front axle for a solid one? Is it difficult? I put 300K on my 96 Ranger and it only left me stranded once in the 11 years I daily drove it, sometimes I miss that truck.

For those of you that have done this as well once you were finished wiring did you seal up this door and the holes in the bottom of the compartment?

Thanks gents the connections are greased so I should be good. Although I had not been in that compartment for a while..... I had to scrape out about a pound of dirt.

    Finished product for now.

actually been looking at picking one of these up myself. Up hunting, we have one spot where you can get a signal, but you have to stand just right or the call drops. this would be extremely helpful there, ensuring our once a week check-ins are drop free. So even if I only use it up hunting, it's worth it IMO

Yeah, it's so awesome there. I got there late Thursday night and was surprised that most of the good spots were already taking.
