I have a Ridgid shop vac... Really need a beater brush for the carpet to help get all that dog hair out though. Have a lot of attachments for the carpet vac now. The one thing I don't like about the Ridgid vac is the propriety size of the attachments. Then again when I was at Home Depot picking up some things this morning noticed that they have a whole section of attachments for it now. When I finish ripping out the carpet will likely only need the shop vac ;)

Ha good one. Would like one to draw about 29.9" of Hg. like the ejectors on the main condensers in the engineroom. That will get R done! Likely kind of hard to push though.

Just heard a lot of sirens so I look outside towards the Mtns and there's a good sized brush fire burning . It looks to be at the bottom of Hwy 18 /route 330 Waterman canyon area maybe 5 miles from me

Got a pretty good sized smoke plume already and to late in the evening for air support

    Will keep you updated !!

We're going to order one of those wet vacs for the tile floors. Swiffers are too small, brooms get most of it but you still have to mop. We only have carpeting in the bedrooms so our vac doesn't get a ton of use since we only use one bedroom.

Duh! I was thinking the trimmer line. Was wondering what type was fuel. Lol. Our Ace has a pretty good section for small engine stuff. Do y'all have one that does repairs? One of ours does and has the largest part selection.

 I'll hit either Ace or Lowes on the way home Monday - or the other mom 'n pop type store. they usually have stuff that no one else does.

That stuff is pretty common, so you may find it at Lowes, too.

Probably should change all the line and the primer bulb too.

And I think you might have a winner there. With my Hoover every month or 2 have to take a pair of game scissors and cut all the hair and carpet fiber that is wrapped around the beater brush. That Bissell doesn't seem to have that problem. Looks like it isn't perfect but as long as it has standard hose fittings already have enough hard extensions to take care of most of the complaints. Target here has 3 in stock at the same price as Amazon and Wally World. Looks like I will be making a trip into town tomorrow again, know that you were addressing Sue with your post but that one looks like it works for me also. Thanks Chuck.

So, for anniversary weekend day#2, she had to work from noon to 8, so I'm getting dinner to go. Tonight is fish/shrimp burritos, fish tacos and salads.

Last night's dinner (anniversary weekend day #1) was prime rib at Hunter Steak House. It's a pretty good place. A little pricey, but good food and atmosphere.
