I had done the same type of installation in my Tundra so one of the first things I'd noticed when I got this truck was how loud the road noise was. It's good now.

I installed a used set of side step bars, bought from a fellow TW member.

Thanks to Tacoma3890 for a good deal and super quick shipping.

I took over this lease from swapalease.com. Toyota Financial has been a total cluster f to deal with.

Changed my oil today and finally got to put (one of) my TWSS gifts on: a fumoto valve!

It's a little shy hiding behind the pelfreybilt skid, but man this thing kicks butt! I gave it a try real quick when I installed it, once it had let the last little straggling bit of oil pool up in the pan, I popped it open and wooow, no muss no fuss! This thing is cool as heck!

Here's a test fit, the size both in depth and height feels great but I'm a bit conflicted as I feel it too big lol. I'm going to play with the dimensions a bit more to try to make it fit function and form.

It does look good but you're right. A bit too big...cant see the depth. Good job

Hey you gotta start somewhere. Just glad that we all have several options to defeat the Toyota factory knobs. Good prototype. Will only get better from here on out.

I paid $350 about 7 or 8 years ago for a "lifetime" subscription. I haven't seen them offer it since but it might be something to ask if you end up talking to them.
