What @Speedytech7 said. A trailer. More of a utility trailer to be able to haul a 4wheeler etc and a rack for the tent. There is some places I go where i have stayed for a couple days and have to pack up the tent in order to wheel. This will make it easier to do so as I could leave the tent setup with annex and all and still able to go explore and wheel. Wont be taking it on trails so much if I wheel liie I have where we camp then hit the trail for the day and camp somewhere different after a day if wheeling. You picking up what I'm putting down? Its not gonna be anything fancy, something like this with a rack for the tent

In the garage lol. Havent put it back on the truck yet. Made it to be 11-12 off the bed rails if thats what you were gonna ask lol. I think it's a happy medium height. Gotta duck to go under the tent but not too much!

Thread revival with real progress! So I got some frame plates and u bolt flip kit from Front Range Off-road. One set of holes on the ubolt plate were too far apart so I bored them out with a die grinder and carbide bit. After successfully doing that, I welded up the frame plates and then the upper crossmember for the shock relocation. I copied @Squeaky Penguin idea (thanks buddy )for the crossmember which worked perfect as I wanted a stationary mount to work around and correctly mount/measure the shocks. I first welded the the crossmember up on the higher part of the frame with the mounts on the opposite side of the axle side seen in the second picture. I messed up there as when I tried to mock up the bottom mounts, the shock bodies hit the f***ing mount. After about 20 minutes of contemplating, I cut the whole crossmember off as close to the frame as possible without messing up the frame. I proceeded to cut it off and I just flipped the crossmember 180 degrees and pushed it back about 4-6 inches and welded it there. I opted to put it farther back with some angle so i didn't have to drop the lower mounts so much and losing clearance. But after that it all worked out and its sitting with about 6+" of shaft showing with no bed/ tent. Should be around 4.5-5 showing giving me a pretty good ratio once I put everything on. Aannnnd pics.

Yeah I gotta plate the inside of the frame where the upper member is to cover the hole in the tube and just brace it more I suppose, paint, then it shoukd be good to put back together. I'm excited see if it feels any different. Will post updates in a couple days after I get some miles on

Digging the new rear set up. Any concerns about the increased axle wrap?

Never gave it a thought. Wouldn't think my 8-leaf pack would have very much axle wrap. Ill have to see how it handles when I get it back together. Maybe borrow a gopro from a buddy to take a look and aee what's going on under there

Yea. You'll be surprised. Even with the stock shock configuration, I still have a little axle wrap.

Just curious, did your fox shocks bolt right up to your stock mounts, or did you get different bushings for it? The reason I ask is i just got my king smoothies, but they came with 1/2" spherical bearings, and the stock mounts are like 3/4"

Had to get different bushings to mount on the stock mounts. Around 3/4" like you said.
