Bumper insert removal for OEM fog lights

How do I remove these in one piece, I'm getting to the point where I'm going to take a baseball bat and drive them through the other side of the bumper.
Bought some aftermarket OEM Toyota fog lights on Amazon and I'm trying to remove the plastic insert pieces that came from the factory. I don't want to accidentally snap these things

I have not had a question about my truck that I haven't found the answer that way.
But if you do use a bat make sure to take pictures for us all.

 

there is a plastic hook at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions of the insert. Push the 6 o'clock position from the back and it should pop out to the front.
