Has anyone done an engine flush and what are the thoughts? I have a 2004 with 175K miles on it. Last week I was in the shop with my wife's Tahoe and started talking to the mechanic. He brought up Wynn's as an option www.wynnsusa.com

    Seafoam and regular oil changes.

Flushing a sludged motor can cause more harm than help of it breaks loose large deposits.

Just change the oil. The only thing that should be flushed is a toilet and brake fluid

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Bad idea, heard about several engines blowing up as a result of these. Run good synthetic oil like Pennzoil Platinum that will slowly clean the engine over a period of time. Don't add anything else to the oil as it can disrupt the chemical properties of the oil and make it not perform as it should. The oil has all the additives your engine will ever need and then some, I shake my head at people who add seafoam, lucas, and other "oil enhancing" additives to the engine, just, don't, do, it! :annoyed:

Completely Stock except for Ranch 5000 Shocks and Struts.
Flush the entire cooling system every two to three years, and always use Toyota coolant.
