Sos off road concepts, thanks. I did do the cutting myself. I was pretty nervous at first. I filed and painted the cut edge then covered it with a door edge guard

IMG_2654.jpg Pulled out my driver's side CV this afternoon. As soon as UPS delivers the ECGS needle bearing removal tool, the POS needle bearing is coming out, and new ECGS bushing going in!

    Scratches, dents, lots of squeaks.
Swapped out my reg 5100s for extended length 5100s. Changed rear gear oil to syn. Replaced m/t fluid with red line. Fab fours bumper. Productive weekend.

This that and the other thing.
So I picked up a brand new pair of SPC UCA's for $300cnd off kijiji
now I just have to order some new greasable ball joints because these ones have the old style BJ but for the price I paid, I do not mind at all haha

    20170423_173637.jpg

Also started installing my Rough Country flush mount LED pods. I cut the holes in the bumper and wired up under the hood. started to run the wires to the rear bumper, that's when I realized the wiring harness they supplied is too short haha it only reaches the back of the cab. still have to wire in the switch too.

I finished up my CAI intake a little while ago when I did my intake manifold spacer but I could not post pictures because my phone was broken. I'm thinking of painting the cover black, or if anyone knows someone who makes black covers or has one, maybe one that says TRD on it or something that would be cool too haha

Have a idea and Iam curious if anyone has attempted or thought of this also. Would it be possible to add some kind of struts possibly like the redline ones and incorporate them into the tail gate for easier access? An assisted tailgate bascily. Thoughts...

    Well, I bought it yesterday.

Woke up this morning and removed the dealer sticker.

    Then removed the mud flaps.

Then washed it and took an "artsy" pic in my driveway.

More to come later this week!

What did you use to get the decal off? Had thoughts of taking mine off. Great choice with the MGM!

WD40 and a soft terry cloth. Removed the vinyl itself with a plastic razor blade then used the WD40 on the terry cloth to remove the residual adhesive. Easy Peasy.
