    I am considering buying new wheels for my tacoma, right now it is a 100% stock 2005 trd offload. I am considering the set up linked above. I know I will need about a 2.5 lift in the front to fit them, is there anything else I would need? I am also wondering if anyone else has a wheel with similar offset and tire size and could post pics

    For 285s, I had to remove the mudglaps, trim where they mount, do a CMC, cut into the wheel well plastics, beat the pinch weld to hell and I still rub wheelin'

    All that is with a 3" lift.

    No cutting? Stick to 265's

    CMC = cab mount chop

    You'll need a cab mount chop, to hammer in or grind down the pinch weld, and some good old fashioned trimming. You should get some AAL in the back too and I would say make that front lift 3 inches. Don't cheap out and use blocks because you can mess bearings and joints up, use coilovers. Anything from Icon, Fox, or King will all be good. You'll also need wheels with 4.5" backspacing to fit everything and not rub your uca. Spacers may be tempting but don't get them, they put too much stress on the lugs and the spacing isn't quite right. If you go that route however get spidertraxx because they're hub centric and take stress off of the lugs from the tire. Bolt pattern is 6x5.5 (same as 6x139.7) and make sure your rims are 16x8. Good luck
