Well bumper and winch are fully functional thanks to Brian. Ready for Moab.

 

Alright I took the family off road to look at some land for a house and I started rubbing where the punch weld is. The plastic on the wheel well's pin came out and I had to do some trimming with a pocket knife on the lands so I wouldn't fuck my tires up. How much of this can I trim?

 

I'm just gonna take it to the dealership tomorrow and tell them they need to Remove shock/coilovers, stuff tire to where it bumps and get them to turn the wheel and cut wherever else it is rubbing. Gonna get them to do the pinch weld mod too

 

@stronghammer you're running 285/75/16 right? What all did you have to do trimming and mods wise to make it off-road capable

 

No, 285/70/17. I have no inner fender or flares so I did not trimming. Not even a cmc.

 

That's only one .1 inch smaller than a 285/75/16 lol. I made the field trimming look as nice as I could with a sharp knife and a heat gun. I'm gonna trim way more though.

 

What are the consequences of not having inner fending

You would need a snorkel. Your intake is under the liner.

 

Yeah... I love what a snorkel does and how deep you can go with them I just can't stand the way they look

 

I personally like the looks, but I did it for the usefulness, not the looks.

 

I think they look better on the second gens
