    ok 2 things

    1. not my post but this is from IH8MUD.com,
    2010 ONSC Spring Tide Ride
Also, I'll post it up early. Our Outer Banks Spring Tide Ride this year is set for April 21-25 2010. We're still in the process of determining how many slots we can open up, capping the max # of trucks at 50, but once we know how many of our guys are going, we'll make an annoucement. We'd like see you guys there...

    2. The last time that my club went to CarNova Beach, 14 Trucks/Jeeps/4runners , we were on the beach for about 20 mins and got pulled over. We were not doing anything illegal but the beach PO wanted to tell us something. " I know what you boys are here for, everyone knows your here, including the State Police. If you do anything that gets us a call then plan on staying the weekend in jail and your trucks staying here. You can figure out what happens with them later." Now we took that as we could drive down the beach, which is what we were there for, and nothing else. Not to much do on the beach but there a few hill climbs behind the dunes that we had done the times before this. This Beach PO did decided to follow us for about 20 mins.

Now im not telling you guys to not go, and when yall go there will prob be alot more people on the beach. When we were there it was us and like nobody else.

August 31 but the plan is to deliver a week early due to a medical condition my wife has.

Just keep on trying and keep a positive additude. We were convinced it wouldn't happen and were even pursuing adoption.

Now back to the regularly scheduled program.

I will be up there with the taco July 3rd - July 10th. We are staying up in whalehead near corolla but I'm down for meeting anywhere. I'm having OBX withdrawals I didn't go last year. My aunt and uncle still got me a brew thru shirt so that helped the withdrawals a little. Last summer was only the second summer at the OBX I have missed in my 24.5 years on this planet.

OBX meet sounds good. Does anybody know if some of the ramp accesses are still closed due to bird/egg preservations or something? I was down there last summer (July 4th weekend) and was able to get out to the sand at ramp 32 I believe!

End of August beginning of September is the best time to go. Kids are back in school, water is super warm, no one one the beach, great fishing, great weather.

Surf fishing during the summer months sucks!!! You can catch more waves than fish.

depends on bait, where your fishing, casting, etc. Some years I have had good luck fishing in july others it was crap. I haven't ever tried other times of year so I have nothing to compare it to.
