Will only change sound, won't improve performance it is well documented.

I just looked at a bunch of dyno sheets and they say different. Which ones have you seen/are you referencing?

The only dyno sheets I'll consider looking at are back to back, before and after runs on the same truck and same dyno.

You can't dyno a truck in California as a base run for a truck you dyno'd in Florida. It's not an accurate test.

...if you're looking at the ones I've looked at.

Now back to the topic of lighting, Any suggestions for auxiliary lighting? Brands, install links you've seen? Pros and cons of placement?

Let me give you an example - I read a write up on a trd pro that had a super charger added to it. Now a supercharger is a proven performance upgrade. The supercharger improved the 0-60 by .4 seconds. Not a hell of a lot for $7000!

A Cai or exhaust isn't going to make your truck faster. They just won't

With a speed gov, nothing but a workaround will make it faster.

Can get u blower, headers, ypipe, catback, pulley, intake, plus.

    Link to this 7grand clusterfuck?

I am personally about to go with the URD CAI. I like the extra sound but I also like how it truly is a CAI. Best your going to get is one of the URD upgrade packages with headers, CAI, and exhaust. Unless you want to SC or Turbo, there really isn't much to increase power substantially.

Cai headers exhaust won't make it any faster but if you want to change the sound they will accomplish that.

Okay this might sound like a dumb question but here goes. I looked into the UDR CAI. The science seems sound... however I live in a pretty cold place currently where there is snow on the ground about 7-8 months out of the year. Speculation on how the cold weather mixed with the URD CAI would affect MPG in the extreme cold winter months? Maybe I should just hold off on the CAI until I leave this place...

Here's the article and a portion discussing the cost.

    https://www.google.com/amp/www.moto...a-trd-pro-supercharged-first-test-review/amp/

The TRD supercharger retails for $4,140 and requires a $580 installation kit. Toyota tells us that out the door a supercharger installation will typically cost between $6,000 and $7,000, including parts and labor.

Urd will NOT pull any colder air than stock at approx 40mph.
Use a scangauge, or ultragauge on ur truck with stock setup at approx 40 mph. It will be ambient.

Now, the fact the filter housing isnt mounted above the block may help keep things cooler but without someone rigging a sensor further down stream, we dont know. Also maybe the urd is prone to heatsoak compared to plastics.

I cant tell u about 0-60 because all i do is spin. I tried it twice with torque pro.

40 to 90 is more realistic, as shown on xru

Well i also did headers, intake, ypipe, and 3" exhaust FIRST..... so throwing the blower on just kills the tires after the supporting mods.

Thats a good question, maybe if you want you could be the first to test that theory, if it doesn't work out, sell it to me lol I'm close to purchasing it

What you are talking about? It makes 65 hp and 78 lbft more as standard, with smaller pulley/good tune/headers/exhaust easily over 100 hp = +40% more.
I lost 2 seconds of 0-60 mph time with TRD SC and Unichip. Some more is coming...

    4wd launch or 2wd launch?

tire spin is a real issue with 2 drive wheels

this is NOT a good launch for instance (2wd) and would not reflect a fair 0-60 time whatsoever
