Wierd usually all those lock systems are safe to stuff like that. May have them look into it before they start having to pay for multiple employee phones...

Already sent an email out. haha wish my phone was an employee phone..

Mostly worried about some big roller here doing it to their phone.

I believe the going rate was $10/lb here. My buddy makes $500+ every year off his findings. I just give the few I stumble across to Ash for chews. I rarely spend my time looking for antlers. Most often I just go fishing and if I happen to stumble upon one I'll take it. My buddy gets most of his at a site not far from Lander. I'll be going out next week with a friend to actually search for some but I am not too optimistic about it ha!

I talked to a few people that take it serious. They have game cameras up to see when they drop and then put some serious miles in to collect them. Some have dogs trained to find and retrieve them. It's a cool hobby but I am not dedicated enough to put in that much work .

For sure, it's big here. Lots of places to go near here for all the big antler critters. It's cool but I just don't have that time to go walk around for hours.

I saw a huge trailer and truck loaded totally full with sheds actually last week in town. Like big double axle dump gooseneck trailer with wood extensions and the bed was full..was impressive.

Haven't been there in a while but I'd be happy to go have a look on Tuesday if you'd like. Is it still in a truck?

Ended up heading to Little Horn Canyon Saturday afternoon. The drive in was fun. 3 water crossings. Second one was about halfway up my wheels, other two were negligible.
The river was moving fairly quick. Lots of deep holes though. My buddy snagged a nice rainbow and then proceeded to break his fly rod 30 minutes later.

On a side note. I was able to free wade in the river. The water was a little chilly but not unbearable. I'd hate to walk around up there with waders on anyway. Probably turn them into Swiss cheese with all the thorny bushes around.

That guy drives around the PNW buying sheds this time of year. Then he goes and sells them to furniture makers and craftsman. When I got my trophy elk a few years ago I had a friend do taxidermy as a hobby and he mounted the head. He wanted to and I didn't care, but the cape which is the head skin, the tanner wanted to pay 200 for so he could pair it with some antler and do a mount and sell it for a lot more.
    Said elks
Top elk was this years and the sun rise and mount photos was 3 years ago

They only want 175 for it. So i'd take it. If you get it, maybe i'll have to come to oregon after all.

It just has to be the right PN: 89661-04410

    Otherwise, don't waste your time.

    their stock PN is 119D

I'll go have a look tomorrow, they're right next to my metal supplier and I need some tube and 1/4" plate anyway. I'll need a PayPal within a day or two if it's the right one though, still have overload classes to pay for.

Have a friend that bought a box blade road grater thing and the hitch it has won't mate with their quad (it's meant for a lawn tractor) so I'm making a sleeve hitch to 1.25in square adapter and then a mount for the turnbuckle used to adjust height

ghetto version of this contraption. Their quad has low range so it should be able to pull it just fine, just doesnt have a hitch that works with it

The tube is for my upper shock crossmember though, might as well get two birds stoned at once.

That was a nicely written story. Enjoyable. And the photographs definitely looked familiar.

Remind me of this around the campfire.
