    Thanks for the reply. My phone is a Samsung s5. It's a few years old so if something did happen with the magnet I guess it would not be the end of the world. I do like the clean look and quick release of the magnetic setup. It seems like the cross grip would require a bit more coordination to put it in and out. I notice that Ram Mount also has a magnetic mount specifically for GPS units. May give that a try as well.

    BTW I ordered the HD version of the Tech Deck just so I have the option of adding a tablet and or more accessories down the road. Looks like you have a lot going on there!

    Only have a lot going on during hunting season. Most of the time just the phone mount stays on. Traveling the GPS mount goes on also. Hunting season it is all out warfare LOL. The beauty of the system is that it is easy to add and remove what you want or don't want. :thumbsup:

    Got my tech deck installed. I was able to make the clip on wizgear magnet holder work with the short ram arm. Install was easy and really like the setup .

    I got mine as a gift from my fiancé and I couldn't be more happy. Great product. Although the installation took a while, coz it need some shaving on the bezel. The reinforcement place won't sit properly.

    I looked everywhere for someone that has a setup with a manual tranny, didn't see much. Are the bottom mounts usable with the shifter going up there? I feel they would hit making only the top ones usable or shortening the shifter which i dont want to do.

    So I have the 6 speed manual with this, I'm still waiting on the last parts from Ram Mount to finish it up, but I'll throw up a picture when its doen. I'm not forseeing it being a problem though

    I can take pics but I don't have any lower mounts. I use the top ones but I would imagine you would hit something with the lower mounts being used

    That would be great if you dont mind, do you still find it worth it using only the top mounts?

    Yeah you can have two mounts being used up there which is enough for a phone and GPS or whatever

    So the picture is me in 5th gear. I think it depends on how you set everything up, I got 1 inch adapters since I wanted everything kind of contained and not in my face. But I have the iPhone mount set up more for my fiancée, but it can be swirled around without impacting things to much. I'm still able to adjust the heater and such, radio is a little blocked but the steering wheel controls will take care of most of the aggravations

    @Thyces

    Link through to the instructions and you'll see the backing bracket on the extreme that you have to fab. Use 3M tape to secure the bracket to the bezel, and not epoxy.

    Enjoy, bro!

    Thanks bud. I was thinking of using bubble gum that way I can re-adjust as necessary.
