    @AtxLakeTaco if you're second guessing your truck, sell it before high school is over and upgrade to a 4x4 AC or something. Do it while your still living with your parents and can play the high schooler card. There are some good trucks on Craigslist, just be sure to search near by areas as well

    And personally, taking a 2wd to any off road park seems like no bueno, although some guys do it...

    Youre a senior right? If you're 18 you can serve alcohol. Find a serving job at a place like the Oasis or Steiner Ranch Steak House that lets you work unlimited hours and bank this summer, pay off your current Taco then upgrade to a 4WD :thumbsup: I love spending summers with my parents because I don't pay rent and get multiple free meals a week

    yeah when we bought it, it only had like 40k. and they sell older 2nd gens at basically the same price as the new ones if theyre low mileage cause they hold their value so well

    We get a two year warranty so we can hire an independent inspector any time within those two years and the builder will fix anything

    Must be nice being able to live free of responsibilities for a while. Us "grown ups" gotta pay for all our stuff including Tacoma parts :annoyed:

    I paid for the truck 100% by myself (still owe about $5k) and all the truck parts for her, gas that goes in her and insurance to cover her. But yeah, living rent free a few months a year is awesome :D
