Jesus, my sister has plates as well. I broke my wrist the previous year snowboarding, had two temporary screws placed.

My sister decided to learn from my mistake and wear wrist guards, snapped her arm right above the guard. She had to quit surfing because even through her wet suit the plates would contract too much and hurt badly.

Do you have problems with metal detectors too?
