When I was an infant I got really bad pneumonia. My parents told me how they wouldn't let them in to see me so I hated the doctor for it. Turns out he saved my life and I drew him a picture and a Lithuanian thank you and my parents sent it to him.

    Dang it man.

    Yeah, really sucks.

Now, I have to be so protective of it.

Like, when riding my bike, or even walking for that matter.

Cant take another fall like that on it, not with how badly it hurts already.

Only ridden my dirt bike 3 times in the last 2 years

Pretty much stick to the 4 wheeler and the 3 wheelers now

    Pneumonia is a bitch!

I was on 3rd shift a few months ago and I started feeling weird around 2am. I checked my HR with my watch and my resting rate was 120bm. I went to the er a few days later because it didn't go away. They thought I was having a heart attack so they did a heart cath on me and found nothing. I spent the night in the hospital and after blood tests they found I had upper lobe pneumonia.

    That shit is horrible!

Oh that fucking sucks. I never did pt for any of my breaks either. I'm worried about the pain that's inevitable when I get older. I'm knocking on wood and trying to stay active. I already feel trigger finger setting in my left hand :/

Oh ya bro. I had it again in my teens and I just felt awful. It's bad as an adult, I'm sure it's more worrisome in small children. I'm happy I lived though.

One of the girls I used to work with was dating a guy for like 10 years. Was a really experienced dirt bike rider. He and his team went to race the Baja 500. All her fb posts were about how excited they were and all this preparation and stuff. Guy died on like mile 325 or something.

It was devastating to read all her posts from pure excitement to be on vacation and all this to pure devastation. They just bought a house together earlier that year. Shits scary.

But I know that's not the scope of things we're talking about but it just made me remember.

Seriously. God I don't even want to think if something like that happened.

Luckily someone set up a gofund me for her and it raised over $100k but that's like nothing compared to what was lost.
