Couldn't find a thread on the whole truck 3rd gen but found a couple about camper shells . Just gathering info saw some on Silverado costs up to 5,000 depending how much accessories need to be removed. Thanks for the help!

I had considered doing it right off the bat when I bought mine. Decided to wait until she had gotten trail rash bad enough to drive me crazy before spending the money.

Why? Just why... could call a line -x place and ask them. You will be adding a shit ton of weight and will fade in color

Line-X Premium is guaranteed not to fade for the lifetime you own it.

I had my Leer topper sprayed with line-x premium. Much stronger won't scratch and looks badass IMHO.

Seen a 2nd gen recently in linex. Looked badass. Think someone who sprays said it only added like 80lbs. But they also mentioned 5k cost. Id have to need my truck painted to consider it but if you do it be sure to post up some pics op!

I did my bed... Love that! Whole car is basically like getting a new paint job. I'd watch out for anyone who offers to do it cheap

IF you are so rich you are going to bedline a 30k+ truck, you might want to look at a different product. One that has no rubber nubbies in it so it will clean much easier.

And it's avialable in colors. So you could likely closely match your paint, meaning door jambs, underhood, tailgate, etc will blend better w/o having to do work.

Be sure to do the UV protectant. Otherwise in a few years it fades and doesn't look good

Wouldn't it be cheaper just to replace the composite bed insert?

"LINE-X will add like 500 lbs" - False, We spray exteriors around 65mils on average. At that thickness you achieve the tough coating you want and don't add a significant amount of weight. Less than 90 lbs on average for a full size vehicle completely sprayed. About as much weight as your cooler stocked with "sodas" and ice.

"LINE-X will fade" - False, We have the answer for fading and it is called LINE-X PREMIUM. Premium couples the abrasion and impact protection you already trust with the UV protection your vehicle needs to stay new-looking forever. LINE-X Xtra is our UV stable option for doing your vehicle in color.

    Good deal!

"LINE-X is expensive" - False, When you consider we are doing as much work as what a paint shop would do as far as masking and removing parts from your vehicle. Than consider the durability of the product VS paint. We are cheaper than a paint job. Most exterior spray jobs fall between $3,500-$5,000.

"The LINE-X texture will be hard to clean... it will cause dirt to stick" - False, If you have a garden hose with a nozzle, or even no nozzle and cut the supply off with your thumb to create pressure you can clean the LINE-X Exterior. It's actually EASIER to clean as you will never have to wax it, or worry about water marks. Literally just hose it off and go.

If I decide not to trade in NOV 2018 I guarantee mine will be Line-X'ed! Tired of trying to keep it shiny. Also I can park closer to the front door at Walmart! :)
