    Yeah, it'll protect your body a little, but about as much as regular steps would. Real sliders will cost you a pretty penny though (~$650 for raw steel plus cost to powder coat) so I'm okay with the compromise. :)

    Got my garage clean on. Man it gets nasty after the Utah winters. Nice and clean now though. I used some Mr. Pink on the floors and squirted it from my pressure washer soap canon. Probably a waste of money, but boy does it smell good! :)

    I'll be honest, that's one of my favorite things about my house. I've got just over 1100 SF in the garage and it ROCKS! TONS of space to do work! I do need to decorate it a little. The white walls are a little bare. Needs some Harley/Car/Gas paraphernalia up there.

    I actually had a local guy do it for me. I've read all the work that people have done to get them apart and frankly I don't think I'm that talented. Throw on new suspension, sure, break apart little fidgety plastic things, yeah I'm sure to break them. :) Guy charged me $250 and did a great job IMO. I'm sure there are people local that do retrofits that you can pay. My guy has offered to do it via shipping, but your truck is down for a couple weeks with shipping and stuff. With relation to the color, you can't go wrong with either. I actually lined all of the colors up at the dealership to choose. It was a beautiful sunny day and the sky silver was playing with the light, turning blueish then silver. Made me LOVE it. When I went to the dealership I was positive I was going to walk out with a blue or red truck but ended up leaving with silver. I have zero regrets. :thumbsup:

    Just got my shipping confirmation from @mesojdm! Excited to get some new turns installed. That's the last of the chrome on the truck taken care of. I love chrome typically, but you'd got to keep the theme going, right? I'll take pics and video as soon as I get them installed!

    Just switched out my map lights to LED. They use the same type of LED as the backup lights. I bought a 6 pack so I had 4 left over and swapped them over. Look nice and bright! Now I need to get the main cabin light switched out and it'll look good!

    Oh, and look what I found stuffed underneath the drivers side seat of the truck. A bunch of the bed cleats! They told me the truck didn't come with them and I'd have to pay extra... well... I guess they didn't know there were some stuffed in there, but neither did I.
