You know I'm in for this  It would be great to have a turnout large enough to split into two groups; the more experienced and heavily modified trucks and the guys who are getting their wheels dirty for the first time. We could finally have a "no excuses" run where even the 2wd non-locked and completely stock guys have no excuse to not come out. Not everyone would have to take their truck on the trails, but it would be great to all get together and camp, consume beverages :drunk:, BBQ, and have those who don't want to wheel ride along with those who do.

Early August is good for me! :burnrubber: :mudding:

Same with us. The wind didn't bother us as much as the complimentary sandblasting by Mother Nature.

We had a 3rd gen with us whose sensors have given him issues for months now.

I'm still working on a place to park my RV until we buy a house. I'll be working at Seton Medical Center on 38th. Yes to cilantro. I eat anything :taco:

The Royal Palms on 71 (Ben White) at Riverside used to be nice, but it's been a long time since I've been through there. It is in the flight path of the airport, but a guy that works here parks his fifth wheel there and stays there during the week. He lives in Santa Anna (over 2 hours away) on the weekends and when he's teleworking.

There are a couple on south IH-35 that are nice, but with the bridges at William Cannon and Stassney getting rebuilt you don't want to park down here if you're commuting up to Seton.

The Oak Forest RV park out near Decker Lake might be a good bet. Quiet, out of the flight path, and on the correct side of the river for getting to Seton. There's also the North Lamar Mobile Home Park that should be really close to your work. From there, you should be able to manage a decent search for homes. Pecan Grove is really nice too, but I don't know how getting in and out of there is going to help you get to and from work. Lamar can get pretty choked up, but you're close to EVERYTHING.

There's a guy in my community selling his house right now, but I hear the HOA president is kind of a dick and only wants to talk to people about his truck.

Good luck finding a place to permanently squat!

If we can set a date i'd be down to make a thread!

Would anyone be willing to trail guide? Guys who've been out there quite a few times, like @wagerhope @Spansfelder @Toyboata and company. I don't want to go on an insane tag fest, haha

Looking at a calendar, i'd say July 28-30 work best for me personally, right before August. You booked that weekend, @medjah ?

I've only been a few times- and not sure I can project my availability that far ahead. That said, I'm interested to go and if I'm out there, don't mind running some folks around. I just don't know the trails super well.

This would be awesome timing for me too. Once we lock it down, I'll take that Friday off. I can't be a trail guide yet, but I will assist however I can.

The reason I wanted to set it for such an early date was just to allow everyone to take off work if they're interested.

Awesome man, would love to hit some trails with ya!
