We won't win now that the insta famous have made it. The street trucks are popular. We only will get votes from our bama faithful, and that's less than the south Carolina faithful haha

The right way to do it would have been to take in names and randomly pick one vs a popularity contest.

I thought the same thing. To me, it's almost ironic that whoever is gonna win is likely gonna be a highly modded truck anyway that doesn't really appreciate free mods.

You're both right. That's why my vote went to jimbo before anybody else got in playing. If changing to dave helped I would. Too many more popular than us. I support the poorer guys haha.

Silly question, but if I move my CB antenna to the bottom of the tail light cage it's on now, will I have to retune it or not (it's mounted to the top bar currently)? Or is that gonna be too low for it to work anyway? Crappy picture I know but it's all I got without running outside right now. Basically I want to lower it so I stop hitting garage doors and stuff but if I have to retune it then I won't worry much about it. I don't know crap about CBs even though I've had one for a good long while.

I know the higher it is, the better it works. You could always do what they did back in the day and tie it down, or unscrew it when not in use like @TacoAlaMode does.

Yeah, I've just plain unscrewed it plenty of times before. It's a Firestik so it doesn't bend too well. If it was a steel hwip I'd just do the tie down method in a heartbeat. It's just kinda annoying when I go to a parking garage thinking "will it work this time...?" And not knowing until I get past the gate.

Screw it man, get like a 9 foot antenna and then run through Mcdonald's and make it bend back on the height limit sign so when you get past it it'll hit someone's car

With mine being on a hood mount, i can reach out my window and bend it over for going through drivethroughs. It hits all awnings if I don't.

Haha, I ain't worried about McDonald's folk. What got me was when I accidentally punched a hole in the insulation panels on my parents garage door. Haha.

I have one. What made the hole was that it bent down while I was getting into the garage and then it popped back up once it cleared the lip of the door. As in the last row of panels at the bottom of the door that's still angled down a little when the door is up.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
My buddy texted me earlier asking if my truck still smelled like dead fish. Turns out he had a stow away too. :D That entire lake was rancid. It was like a fish apocalypse.
