I'm so ashamed of myself. My truck has had a hollow knock from the bed area for a week or more. I've spent an hour under the truck shaking everything, sounding things with hammers, checking U bolt torque settings, jumping in the bed and searching this forum.

I could reproduce the sound by jumping but not pinpoint its source. It was driving me mad. Today I had to toss a couple hundred cat head clamps and rod for a job tomorrow and the weight sitting on the bed silenced it.

I had never checked torque on the bed bolts because I didn't have a t55 bit and didn't want to spend $10 to eliminate a source. Plus the bed made no noise when I pulled up on its corners.

Got my stickers in from @CBoy808 for my TOYOTA FJ Emblem for when I do my Mesh HomerTaco grill. Didn't wanna tape it off and paint it. Couldn't ask for better form him but dunno about the white lines. Probably not noticeable once on the truck and from afar... thoughts?

Check the bed bolts, check all the bolts! There is a lot that hold the bed sides on, etc.

I was searching this knock sound from the front when braking and accelerating, turned out to be the bolts that hold the door hinges, they were not completely tight.snugged them up, good to go.

    Are floor mats a mod?
Dang it, I didn't see that.

That's for the heads up, I will have to switch that out for sure.

I only steel wooled and used zinc primer on my sliders. Hopefully they hold up well enough. :fingerscrossed:

Individualized. I'm partial since that's how I did mine :)
