    If you are not lifted it will rub when you are in reverse at full steering left or right. My wheels are -12 offset I am running 265/70/17 Coopers lifted 2 1/2 and had to remove the mud flaps and trim a little. Love the way it looks but should have gone with 0 offset rims

    Will a 0 offset rub on 265/65/17 stock?

    No; it shouldn't rub at all 0 offset is pretty safe and especially with stock tires you'll have no troubles at all.

    What about with a 9inch wheel width? That's as big as I would ever go so I'm just making sure

    I run a 16x8.5 wheel with 0 offset and have plenty of room to spare in terms of clearance for my suspension components_ I don't think a .5" wider wheel would really make much of a difference. It'll clear just fine;

    You're tire choice however will affect whether you rub or not;

    You should be ok at 0 offset. The stock rims are +30. That means the wheel is rims outer lip is pushed in. + Means in - means out. Take a string and tape it to your fender. Let it hang straight down on the center of your rim. Now measure from the string to the lip of the rim. A 0 offset wheel will be 30 mm closer to the string.

    Yep. We have a yearly safety inspection, and vehicles won't pass if tires stick out past the fender or flare. Cops have been cracking down.

    My paint hasn't been destroyed. You'll be fine OP. Just can't get crazy about a rock chip here and there.

    Yeah it has. You just don't have the detail orientation or care.

    Off-roading wrecks paint, add in lack of protection from road debris its worse.

    I have to polish my fenders twice a year and my tires don't stick out and my truck is white (color that hides scratches the best).

    You're right. Listen to this guy OP. He's got it all figured out.

    Truth be told. The day after I cut my fenders and put the 35's on all the paint fell right off my truck.

    Also not running a sway bar. My judgement is questionable at best.

    Spacers will get you what you want but two inches is quite a bit actually, mine are probably at an inch and it gets dirty real quick due to dirt and debris being picked up and thrown around by the tires. IMAG1146.jpg
    But it is a truck so I really don't mind it getting dirty.
