I understand this is a win for 2A members but now I'm understanding why life ain't fair. For $200 less you can all technically run "SBR"s, but me being a young gunner, I have to make mine an SBR because I legally can't own a pistol for another, 10 months... Just hit 8 months today, hopefully I don't have to wait too much longer for my stamp, last time i saw a July stamp was around 245 days, so me being late August should be 255 at most.

 

If your state doesn't have a law about possession of a handgun under 21 all you have to do is ask a family member to gift you a stripped lower to build as a present (assuming your state allows "gifting" like Cali used to).

 

Nevada is 21 to my knowledge and thats coming from LEO family. Besides that, I think I'll like my stock better than a brace, I've shouldered one before and it doesn't feel right for me.

 

That's odd, most states allow possession of a handgun at 18. My state allows me to purchase handguns (private party) at 18 as well as carry without a permit at 18.

I love my SBR (SBR'd it before I was 19) but it's a hassle to take between states, stock does feel much better than just a buffer tube or "brace".

 

I do believe Vegas has some wonky laws, maybe its just 21 here just to keep it even with the drinking and gambling age.

Ok yey you guys are right, Clark County is 18, but if I want legal CCW, its 21. No reason in me having one unless I can carry. My SBR will be my car carry until I can get CCW.

 

Carefull, even stating current laws can offend the snowflake mods. Cause, ya know, facts are mean.

 

At least we aren't arguing over them, I don't think we'll have a problem.
