That would possibly work for the height but the width wouldn't clear other components to fit in the upper slot. Gonna pick up the other aforementioned alternator and install it since it's the correct one :D

Why'd you remove the manifold to do plugs/wires?

Anything else I should do / check / clean when I do my VCG this month? Someone just mentioned cleaning injectors?

I have the VCG, spark plug tube gaskets, cam shaft caps, half moons, PVC gasket and new valve.

thanks for tip. So these would work well with multiple lights/light bars..... i.e. Toggle up for bumper mounted light bar, toggle down for bumper plus a windshield/roof light bar for maximum blindness.

I could use it for bumper mounted light bar and second switch for reverse led lights. Just means that when using revers lights to back up and trailer I would have to have the front light bar on also. Maybe a moot point until I figure out which size switch fits the punchout.

This past week, I replaced all the non-iridium spark plugs at 91,000 miles, did oil and filter change, and picked up this new cap. Got a really good deal on it, especially for how good a condition it is in. Now I'm ready for camping after 7 months of searching for a fiberglass high-top shell that doesn't leak. Besides the fact that I love camping, it is also part of my job in the summer! And the bonus is the rack on top (I'm thinking about getting cargo bag. Anyone got one for cheap?), interior dome light and LED 3rd brake light. I set up the wiring for the lights thanks to the instructions I found here on TW. Probably will install reflectix insulation on the interior and/or headliner. Then make it nice for camping but easy enough to remove camping gear for when I need to haul stuff throughout the summer. Keeping it dynamic is important for my purposes.

I haven't noticed yet. I pushed it pretty tight against the cab, probably will experiment with it pulled back a little bit so it isn't touching or banging or scraping. A few days this week I noticed some rumble/banging noise, but discovered it was because I hadn't closed the driver side door all the way.

If you take it off road you'd be surprised at how much your bed flexes. I'd give a minimum of and inch clearance at the top.

Took a little bit more time to get a pic but here it is with the hood on. Finally installed my hood struts which is why the hood was off
