Its not fun. But when the whiskey shits kick in on a monday morning, you got to go. No choice but to pray for the best and you dont get it on you. Man i dont miss working on construction sites.

 

They don't seem to get bad till the wood ticks get to the job. That's when they start getting nasty.

 

I'm starting to think I'm the only one here who doesn't work in construction...

 

if you cant do 55mph or over on a washboard, you are hating life fast...

And a rocky wash fast is sooooo much fun until you get the bill for repairs the week after.

I'm just a lowly paralegal and poor. I live vicariously through my boss, who pities me and keeps me quiet/happy with whiskey.

You do go outside! For a few minutes. Then sit in traffic and get back to this for hours.



Sometimes I work at coffee shops near meetings at job sites. Sometimes in my truck. My shoes are dirty but my hands are clean. There are benefits to both the field and the office. I'd rather be in the field, but lack the skills to make a decent living at it.

 

Look man all you have to do is get them through the diaper stage which is about 3 1/2 years then it's fifteen years of them bringing you beer from the fridge while you watch the game or work on your truck

 

Anyone need a snorkel? Want to get in on the ARB GB, but need to get rid of the Airflow first.

hahahaah. my kids are now 22 and 26, and I can't remember if they ever brought me a beer. my daughter-the-healthnut used to like to rag on me that I drank too much beer. ok, my adult son (26) has invited me to a few keggers, does that count ?
