Yes, 80-90 is no problem. Fastest I've ever gone on it (on a legal track, of course :anonymous:) was about 110. I'm 5'7" and about 180#.

It's definitely not as fast as a 600 (obviously) but it will get you around no problem.

I haven't taken my 300 on the interstate that much but when I have I didn't have any issues cruising at a lil over 80. And @CanisLupus is correct, 110 is roughly the top speed on them. 300s are awesome bikes, super lightweight for having fun on winding roads and enough power to get your adrenaline pumping.

The extra 50cc is great for that highway use. Most everyone on a 250 complains about keeping up with highway traffic and merge speed but the 300 can do it no problem

yea thats what he was telling me... that his 250 is a blast around town, but not the interstate... that's what led me to ask about the 300...... now i really freakin want it haha

off topic: but for you people with wood burning fireplaces..... where do you get wood? do you split it yourselves? (I have no problem with this) what's the best way to store it? etc....

Craigslist has people giving away fire wood, I get it anytime there is a storm I'll take my saw and anything on the side of the road I'll grab. I also have a buddy in Fredericksburg that works for a tree co. So he saves stuff for me.
As far as splitting goes0128171317a-1.jpgI'm old sschool, but have help;)
