Thrown Out of Dealership Today

Why? I love my 3rd gen. The issues I've had are all minor easily fixed problems. The dealer is the issue.

 

Damn that wasn't even that bad. Service managers reaction was way out of line. I thought you had like called out specific mechanics and started cursing the day they were born by how the guy reacted to you in OP.

 

Because #TurdGenProblems

 

It's not bad at all, I didn't even use names.

 

I would probably make it a point to go eat my lunch at that dealership every.single.fucking.day.


Just park, right up front.

Eat lunch. Make sure you make eye contact with the service manager whenever possible.


If they call the cops, just get out and look at a few vehicles. "Shopping".

Post that on FB.


"Shopping for a new truck, got the cops called on me because I frequent the dealership too often shopping for a new vehicle. Apparently they don't want you to come here."

They can still request you leave the premises. If you fail to do so = trespassing.

 

As I've previously said to you before, this is my 6th Tacoma and favorite of all. Not getting rid of it.

 

I wonder how many of these stories actually happened.

 

That's what I thought...I mean unless they have the power to just void for a paid item with decent time left.

If that does indeed seem to be the case, then I would def expect corperate to explain and compensate for that. If not, then they better hope they have a voided warranty clause statement in regards to social media interaction or else that's probably a case if you want to persue it. I thought Toyota cared about rectifying negative reviews as poor service is not something they probably want to be associated with, especially if they can fix this appearance.

 

So, leave. Then come back the next day. Not trespassing.

 

Service manager must've been on his man period, or didn't get any cooter the night before.

It's still private property up to the point where if you've been asked to leave and warned, and continue to violate that request it is considered trespassing. It doesn't reset the next day.

not sure how florida works, but in texas there has to be a criminal trespass warning written by a LEO, then if the person doing the trespassing continues to trespass they're hauled off to booking.

I believe him. I watched my service manager "throw a customer out" not even two months ago. I was at the dealer getting my Trip Meters/Combo Gauge replaced because it was failing. Some irate customer who was being completely irrational approached him and started cussing and yelling. I'm sure she had her side of the story but he told her to leave or he would call the cops. She didn't listen so he called the cops. Cops showed up, calmed her down and helped escort her off the lot.
