Dean spent way too much on Lucic just to give away ... now is his time to prove his worth. If the Oil get by, it will confirm (to me anyway) he should have been signed and perhaps Lombardi would still be GM.

So excited for the Caps vs. Pens matchup. Ovi is way overdue..

 

Very true. I won't even be mad if Caps win. They are due. They have something to prove and should be hungry. But if they lose that'll still be hilarious

I can't see the Caps winning. Pittsburgh can bring the same speed as Toronto and has a very effective breakout which seems to give the Caps a fit. Add on to that the skill and experience on Pittsburgh, I'm thinking Pens in 6.

 

Ya that is what I am hoping. It'd be nice if we can jump on them in Gm1 and plant that seed of doubt, which is still a bit of a carry-over from Toronto. But who knows. It should be a good series. I just hope our D holds up, as a team don't give them many chances on the PP and keep MAF composed. No Murray at practice yet, so MAF has to hold down the fort for the bulk of this series, it looks like.
