Independent shop call Whits Automotive on 3rd in Nampa has done recent work that I did not feel like tackling. They have been very reasonable and competent. Depending what your thinking of- I could walk through routine maintenance stuff. I am about due for belt changes and such myself.

Alright so I put on some Goodyear Wrangler Authority in 265/75/r16 on my stock 2000 Tacoma and am gettin some rubbin at full turn. Thinking of getting a leveling kit or spacers to fix the problem. Anyways do you guys have any shops near town that can do a leveling kit or maybe even a lift for me ?
    Thanks in advance.

    It's rubbing right here.
Do you think a spacer or a leveling kit should do the trick ? The rubbing is pretty minimal. I can still drive normally around town without a problem. It's only during full turn.

Also yeah I'm sure I can do it myself, but I just don't have a garage and I don't have my tools with me to do it unfortunately. Unless someone on here that has a garage and tools is willing to help me out ? I'll buy food and beer or somethin or can I give cash.

And thanks ! I got such a good deal. It was only $150.80 a tire from Walmart right now if you order online.

Your rubbing the UCA and probably the frame due to your wheels. Those are 2nd gen tacoma wheels. They have 5.5'' back spacing vs your stock 4.5'' back spacing.

You must run a minimum of a 1'' wheel spacer to solve your issues. 1.25'' wouldn't hurt though.[/QUOTE]

Thank you for that valuable information. I'm thinking of getting these from Wheelers And also I imagine it's not complicated at all to put the wheel spacers on ?

For the Owyhees The Hard trigger wild horse preserve is a nice easy loop-easy enough with a couple of stream crossing this time of year also couple of turn offs the dirt road that get a little more challenging.
