Not yet, life's too busy with the kiddo and my wife's extended family in town. Saturday is basically 100% truck, so I'm guessing I'll paint it Saturday PM if the weather holds. Otherwise I might have to paint it out at Jambo!

 

Nice!!! I was going to paint my bumper Saturday

But decided to go up to the lakehouse Friday after work

Needs to find some tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime!

 

I have hours I could use to take off of work, but I bailed early last week for my b-day and missed Mon/Tues this week with a sick wife. I'm already playing catch up and that's before leaving Thursday of next week! Craziness.

Sorry to quote my own post, but I need some help!

I guess my question is about cutting the bed sides. A few bumpers require cutting of the bed sides and add steel protection to the bottom of the back of the bed sides. I guess I cant decide if I should cut them or get one that doesnt require the cut. I know I want a tire swing out for sure.

I would have gone full HC rear.....but I just dont need the offroad protection that it provides

Since you wheel, I would say full high clearance is the only way to go!

 

I decided against cutting! You still can add to the bumper later if you change your mind!

 

I vote make the cut, get the "Better edge Trim" from trailtoys, and it will look fantastic.

 

@Misplaced Nebraskan and @ChadsPride , let me know how much y'all want for em. I need to sticker bomb some things in my garage.

I just saw the thread on that edge trim this morning. @Texoma would you be able to do the cut/install with me? I am really liking the c4 bumper above.

Get this bumper nice and cleaned up (theres a couple rough edges that could use some wheel action)

And possibly get my muffler rigged up if you are up for the challange

 

I can do that. Unfortunately I didn't cut mine. Guy I bought it from said he was a fabricator and did sort of a hack job. I cleaned it up a bit, but still not as nice as I would have like it to be. You'll need some touch up paint to cover the cut, they sell it at advance auto now, and of course the dealer ship. @SMKYTXN has the info on the edge trim.

 

Got a new box I need one on, plus the welder, compressor, and cabinet need em too.

 

Awesome, im going to call up c4 fab today and see what lead times and what not look like.
