Bought 2 sets from vin and another set from another member. His prices are already cheap af AND he has blems for even cheaper .. the fuck would you copy that for?

I stole my color from the 3rd gens... However I think that the Methods and SCS or ICONs etc have enough different between them to be their own. I had the Method 301's as my first set and I liked them a lot.

 

But you or someone else said that if you take the caps off them they look the same. That can be said for every other one.

Point is less about legality and more about someone what should be allowed here.

@zscott posted his rack he designed for his own truck and then that became PrinSu Designs, a product born on TW by a member, made for our vehicles.

If Dildos Racks 'n Racks joined the same forum later on and sold a copycat of the PrinSu rack to the same members of the same community, that should be something to consider. The market is free, but that doesn't mean larger companies should be free to join the forum, selling duplicates of a members product.

If people want to buy that shit, they will and they can find it online, but personally I don't care for a company to have a membership that "borrows" designs from someone who has been established here or created here and has the leverage of business and economy of scale to genuinely damage the business of someone who developed something for us.

TW admin historically has had the same principles, more or less.

 

You know whats sad to me is that Vin may sell these same wheels to Jeep owners. I mean good for him and his business but I dont want to see the 6's on a jeep.

Wasn't me, but maybe I look at the details more? Those Methods posted above, look completely different to me than any other company. They may have the same number of spokes but the details is what set them apart. In the case of the VTX, the stealth 6 styled wheel even mimic the detailed lines on each spoke. And it's not a legality issue. More moral in regards to TW and it's members. I stated what I thought and my reasons. But I did say to decide on your own. In the end its up to the consumers. I'm just throwing some info out. And providing everyone here with something to do during the work day apparently.
