Tim that's outstanding I'm sure hoping you have a good turn out. How many vehicles did you have last year? Re there other tacomas from the area there away from tw members? It would be a good opportunity to meet some other folks and get involved in other organizations

 

Last year the weather sucked and a lot of guys canceled at the last minute so there were only a couple dozen. In previous years we've had as many as 75-100 cars.

 

I also have a rep from Sheehey (formerly Rosner) Toyota coming. They've made an appearance for about the last 3 years.

They should come and show support each year and bring some of their new model vehicles for display

 

That's exactly what they do. I'm trying to build enough of a reputation with this meet that one of these days I might approach Sheehey and get them to sponsor/underwrite it.

 

Completely off topic here but does anybody around F'burg know of a good shoe store to fit running shoes other than dick's and sports authority. I want to get my wife a good pair so she quits hurting her feet

You'd be surprised (NOT) at some of the rides that show up. Some are really sweet and some..... uh, need a little work.

 

I've got a few friends that swear by VA Runner. The friends that actually run... not me. I just buy New Balances from Famous Footwear.

 

Lucky Road Run Shop is where I went. The guys there are awesome and know how to pick out the right shoe for you. I'd take your wife there so they can see how she runs and have her tell them what bothers her and such.

 

Agreed man, that's where I go for my shoes as well. Just to get an analysis of the type of runner you are will help ALOT. I didn't realize that running on new balance wasn't ever designed for my feet...took 8 years to find that out.

Yupp, that's the one I was referring to. Appears they have 2 names? Cause Google Maps calls them Lucky Road Run Shop; weird.
