Alright so heres the deal, I have an 02 double cab and I really want to stick a set of streetglow undercar neons on it but my best friend had a set on his 99 tacoma and in the middle of the night someone walked all the way up his driveway, cut them off, and made off with them but lucky for him, he got it at a bargain price and didnt have a full set but now hes replaced it with a full set and it looks beautiful. Is there any really good way to secure these things? It comes with some cheap plastic holders but we didnt even bother using those while installing, instead we ziptied the hell out of it and the wiring in strategic places but if someone really wants them, they can cut the wire and the zipties and still be gone with em like last time  I was thinking of some type of locking mechanism that are thicker than zipties (thick enough that normal scissors cant cut through so it will take more time to get) but with the holes in the frame which is the only way to hold these things up really, it had to be kinda flexible. I knows its a long shot but just throwing this out there because I really want a set of these now but its a shame you cant get nice things without having to worry about someone trying to steal them :fenforcer:

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
maybe some longer hose clamp type things...i dunno what else. they'd be harder to cut off...or have to take off w/ a screwdriver

use the stock mount things, zip ties, and some kind of hose clamp with a lock on it? or the exhaust hangar things from autozone with a lock on it, tight enough so no one could slip something under to cut it off

they make zip ties with a metal strap through the middle of them, we have them at work and you have to have a pretty good grip with a strong pair of wire cutters to cut them off..

    Ha...ew neon on a tacoma?

If you really must though, then use a lot of hose clamps. They can't be cut off easily like zip ties.

I didn't know that people even stole those things. That would be like stealing the chrome heat extractor vents off of someones fender.
