@Mobtown Offroad If you want some webdesign work with ecommerce integration, let me know. I work for an ad agency and we do big scale websites, talking 20-50k, but I also do some stuff on the side, freelance, for a more affordable rate. I can provide a community discount if you're interested. Let me know :)

That's a good one. We often discuss if our pictures are really capturing what we need to show. This will be on top of the list.

In my search for truck parts from fab shops, this has always been a massive peeve of mine. Their sites almost always suck, and images are tiny and provide a single angle, multiple times. Hard to visualize and sell myself on purchasing when this is the case. Pictures sell.

I agree with you on this one. It's one of those things lol. You can only be awesome at so many things but that's what this thread is all about, how can we be awesome at everything because nobody is perfect.

I honestly don't see much you can do better. I think your slider prices were a tad high which is why I went w/ someone else. However, the skid prices were great. You don't seem to need more business or I would suggest price matching the competitors. Being in MD you are our only "local" person making the stuff around here. I would prefer to support a company that's more local.

With that said, maybe start something "Buy full armor, skids, sliders, bumpers, etc. over the course of 12 mos and earn back a 10% rebate on total amount spent". Something to that tune to ensure you capture all of the business from everyone on the forum. That's a good chunk of change back as a rebate and while it'll hit your margin..45% of something is better than 0% of nothing.

For only 2 years since the start it's looking pretty killer. Great product and built a loyal following already. Good job guys. I'm personally waiting for the next TW group buy or discount to buy me a tailgate top trim.

MT sliders are expensive, but i really believe they're the best engineered out there. Maybe continue to push that angle, with specific reasons why your products are best?

I'm going to look into this because I thought we were fairly competitive. But maybe not so this will get attention tonight.

I little bit higher price creates exclusivity and reinforces that your product offers something others don't. Don't want to price yourself too low.

I agree. But we still want to be somewhat close. Premium product gets a premium price.

You may already do this... Offer a standard option in all of your products but work to accrue a decent back stock of those standard items. Standardizing each product will reduce production time. Additionally, you could build bare minimum shells of your products that you can build upon for "custom" orders (e.g. a bunch of bare bumpers lying around that you just have to add hoops to, Sliders ALL have kickouts but no mounting plates - so someone wants bolt on, you weld on bolt on mounting hardware, etc) Custom orders will obviously have a lead time.

Currently, you guys - and pretty much everyone else - utilizes a "pull" system or build to order, which works great if lead times are low but moving more towards a "push" supply chain system will entice more customers to buy because they are impatient and you have items in stock.

I personally would have spent upwards of 300-500 more for my recently ordered rear bumper if I could have cut down the lead time significantly.

Some sort of hybrid low profile front bumper like C4F or SSO?

I like the look of those, but they aren't 100% for me. I want the winch and attachment points and want to get rid of the chin, but want to minimize the cutting and still use my lower grill stealth light bar.

Edit: *Waves hands sarcastically* "Look at me - Mr. Important over here. I want it all!"

You clearly haven't been to our website. We have so many shirt options that banks think we are a clothing company. I unfriend you.
