Stop sale on 2017 Tacoma's

Tacomaworld was down here for about 10 minutes. Were there so many hits on the site because people were looking for information on the stop sale?

 

I saw that too... was wondering if anyone else saw it.

Obviously Mr. Vanov has not visited this site. Wasn't there a thread about a guy who's diff failed on the highway almost causing a crash?

 

May be everyone getting off work right about now, won't be surprised to see a flood of new threads talking about it. or Toyota is onto us and trying to silence us

 

Looks like I get to joint the diff club now no noise but definitely damp around the seal. No idead if my vin is being recalled or not my app says it's not.

 

That was an offroad model and not covered by the recall as of yet.

 

Hmmm... this seems to be more than 1% of vehicles judging from how many are showing leaks on here....

 

Off roads are not being recalled yet but based on the posts on forums here they are the most likely to bleed fluid.

 

I feel for ya. You'd think a company with > $25b in cash on hand wouldn't put out half backed products. Let's not forget 10 years in redesign.

I'm trying to find that differential fail thread I was talking about....do you remember it or am I confusing it with the large number of crank case position sensor fail threads?

 

Don't you think a safety recall such as this should be broadcast out to owners' vs waiting for a postcard in June?

 

Ya but it really is a stop sale...isn't it? And it actually impacts more than what he said (2016 & 2017) so tell us, what did OP "sensationalize"? What part was "fake news"? Please enlighten us.
