A Wheel company that copied a members company.

This, love my RTIC. Both companies market to the general public and do well because they are BIG companies. Next @MaverickTRD will say for us to boycott Burger King for copying Mcdonalds.

 

The point being, they are all made in the same factory or two. There is no exclusivity so twenty people wanna sell them with their own tweaks, great. If each of the twenty decides to have features exclusive to their brand and they're copied? That's a problem.

Vin busted his ass and spent his money to develop his product and that is the difference; it's his. And hence, not the same as a cooler or tent

actually. yeti sold its company. the original "owner"s created rtic. so unmmmm not sure how this applies? if they didnt have the rights to make a similar item, thier profits would be pouring into the new parent company by now via lawyers.

 

Shore. Which was my point, TW is a private forum open to the public - not the marketplace to end all marketplaces.

We should value our supporting vendors and not require them to compete with bigger fish in our tiny pond, when they're selling a quality, original product that was born on the forum by a member turned business owner.
