Oh I completely agree with what you're saying. It's really a disrespectful move on their part. At the end of the day though, it's an open economy. I'm sure Vin's clientel base is so large that his business won't take that much of a hit. His loyal customers will be there and the scavnegers who want to save a buck will support the knock off. In the end, Vin will still be satisfying many consumers. Let's just hope the knockoff has some flaws, so it won't take over the market.

and gave a ton of equity in the company to yeti. so it would be like vin owning part of vtx and making them redesign.

Vin is short for Savin. Not Vince. But I'm sure you already knew that like you seem to know everything else.

Not only did they copy that wheel model, but their profile picture shows a knockoff of the Level 8 MK6.

(I apologize if this has already been mentioned)

Pretty sure Level 8 makes nothing but knock offs.

Just sayin.. they're the same type of companies.

True, but that just goes to show they're stealing a majority of their designs.

Vin spent time and money developing/building/marketing/selling his wheels. That makes him the developer. Tepui, CVT, etc. are consumers, not developers of the RTT concept-yes, each has given input and have their designs incorporated but they started with a base others developed for them AND each PAID to license their design.
