New lift

I know this has been beat to death in here but here is another one for you. I need some suggestions please. I recently put a 3" Revtec suspension lift on my 06 Sport LB DC 4x4 and I want more. Give me some suggestions as to what else I can do. I really like the look of the 6" suspension lifts but do I need that? I would like to be near that height but what are some other options instead of going the say the Fabtech Stage 2 kit? What other options do I have other than these types of kits? What types of prices will I be looking at with your suggestions? The Fabtech stage 2 kit is where I am leaning right now but I am open to other suggestions. This is my daily driver and is more or less for looks but I do venture out occasionally off roading. Mainly at my farm and hunt club. No rocks around here for climbing but plenty of mud and red clay. Thanks! And yes I have looked at a lot of the other threads on this but really havent found the info I am looking for.

 

You're already at 3" suspension. That's it for your CV angles. Have you thought about body lift. Many say not to go that route but if you don't offroad much, it does have it's pro's as well. Other than that, I think you'd have to go to a drop bracket lift like the Fabtech or ProComp for more lift.

 

No body lift on this truck. Ive had one of those before on another truck and dont want to go down that road again. i understand that I cannot do anything else with this lift. I am prepared to take it off and start over again. I just need some other suggestions rather than the Fabtech and Procomp lifts.

hbtacoma, peejay and mdbig red all have the rcd. personnally i really like it but lots of guys on here like the pro comp or fab tech 6 inchers better. hbtacoma also has a build thread where you could see the rcd. hope this helps

 

Im thinking about the 1" body lift...if they make one for my Taco (06 sport 4x4 LB DC). I really dont want to go that route but the 1" BL maybe ok. I had a 3" on an old chevy and didnt like it at all.

 

I didn't know RevTek made suspension lifts, Im pretty sure your running a spacer with RevTek.. Just take it off and do the RCD or a Stage 1 Fabtech.

now that I look at the RCD 4.5" lift I see that I will need new wheels. I just bought these and they are 17x8 with 0 backspace. If I put the RCD on then I will have to get new wheels with 4.5 backspace in order to run 33's. Hmmm what to do?

 

you also have to have 17 inch wheels to run the rcd

 

oh sorry you already have 17s. you would just need some spydertrax wheel spacers. it says not to but i pm'd downsouth motor sports and they said it just voids warranty but they also said probably nothing would happen.

I dont have any problems with it....I like it actually....its just after I put it on I decided I wanted to go higher.
