    Yup, very similar, but won't dry up the same way that kid stuff did. I know that slime was a shitload of fun to play with while I was a kid.
    This ABN stuff also has some anti-bacterial agent in it and smells kinda like cleaner/ detergent. I doesn't leave any residue if you tack up anything slimey that might stay behind. You know how OCD I am smitty. LOL One tip though, don't have super dry crusty hands while using this. It will really stick to dry hands and paper like nothing else.

    I can vouch for this stuff. I ordered some and it definitely picks up dust and doesn't leave a residue. I have used it to clean the dust off before using the plexus. It is pretty much the stuff I had as a kid...I think it was called gak?

    I found the best way to clean it was with a swiffer. Best way to restore it would be to take off the left and right side trim around the cluster by pulling off, take Maguires Scratch X and a microfiber towel. Do up and down, left and right movements to get the scratches out. Swirl movements will make the light catch the scratches and it wont look as good.

    I did that on my car and the can of air actually fogged up the lens on the inside, been stuck with that mistake for many years as I don't feel like pulling my dash apart.

    I've used the same method (minus swifter pad) on aircraft canopies with micro mesh and polish using the same method you described!:thumbsup:

    Mostly unrelated, but this thread got me into buffing almost everything by hand - I've since got a power buffer. I haven't used it yet though.

    I love Chris' channel - he's a great guy to learn from imo. I did that once even without the clay bar and taking off from a parking lot after the rain, the water literally flew off my windshield :thumbsup:

    It seems like I'm the only one who sprays quick detailer into a plush MF towel and then wipes. Same reason why you wouldn't want to wipe a dry/dusty car with a dry towel. :bananadance:
