    FRADEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! it's FRADEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Up and running! A little stiff and sore from laying on the driveway, putting rear diff back together last night. Phase 1 of re-gear is done! Checked out all good! Subtle difference. I went from 3.73 to 4.10's. Will be doing front diff tonight and tomorrow morning. Just a tick lower over-all gearing now than stock w/stock rubber. Hard to tell exactly with Tacoma tach, but rpms went up around 250/275 at 55 mph/high gear. Subtle but noticable difference in feel in 1st/2nd gear on the street. Hope is this will work out well with 33"'s for the time being, and not put me in too much peril when I finally do 35"'s (next tire change) Got a great deal on gear sets from Motive Gear. It's been over 10 years since I last did a ring and pinion set up. (I used to do them a LOT for friends that drag race) Like riding a bike....Like falling off a log....Piece o' cake! Can't wait until front is done so I can try it out in low range!

Nice. I may pick your brain about some stuff when we pull the BF's diff apart. Also...I sent your stickers out a couple days ago so I'm hoping you get them soon.

Why not a 4.56? My 4runner has stock 410s and 33s. I hate it. Lol

4.56 would be too low for now. Auto trans with 4.10's is perfect for 33"'s as far as I can tell.

Started with 31"'s and 3.73 gearing. Went to 33"'s....3.73's did OK. Planning on eventually going to 35"'s. The 4.10's work well with the 33"'s, should be OK with 35"'s and don't kill mileage now. I do about 35,000 miles a year of interstate driving. Don't want it geared like a mountain goat for that.

They sell 'em to anyone. What's the hold up? (Most tire stores will do "same as cash" financing....) Get 'em before the truck is an antique.
