    It's time to change my spark plus and transmission fluid. What are the best spark plugs to get? Any recommendations for the tranny fluid?

    NEW QUESTION: I've found the DIY for the full flush for auto transmissions, but that requires 14 quarts of fluid! I only bought and want to pay for the needed 4 quarts. What do I do?

    I believe it's World Service. It's used in the 5 speed auto. The four speed auto still uses Type IV.

    Are there no "performance" spark plugs?

    World Service is a type of fluid? Is there a certain brand or anything?
    Where is the cheapest place to get it from?

    Modern Coil on Plug ignitions all ready put out a shit ton of voltage. Platinum, or Irridium plugs only benafit the force inducted engines. And mulitiple ground plugs are a gimmick. Electricity is going to follow the path of least resistance. Multi tipped plugs may look good in pictures, or in an animation, but they do nothing more than the OEM nickle/copper plugs. Some people have even had the CEL come on when useing different plugs.

    ...yes? Haha. Seriously though, I'm still a little confused. Is WS just a type of atf that several companys make? What is WS?

    I think Amsoil is the only brand that has a compatible product (specs wise).

    Both the Amsoil ATL and the Red Line D6 are compatible, and are both superior products to the Toyota fluid. You can buy gallons of the D6 on Amazon.

    Super cherry n some champion stuff on the side
    if u look on the passenger side of the tranny right before the end of the case (right before the "snout") there is a 24mm plug. that is the fill hole. u need some sort of pump like in the previous pic. the other 2 plugs are on the trans pan. one is the drain plug and the other is the "overflow" plug. vehicle must be running at at operating temp for proper fluid exchange. its a little tricky to perform the whole service.
    technically the WS (world standard) is a 100k mile fluid and does not need to be service till this mile interval.

    DT Long Tube Headers, Empire O2 simulator, catback, Shrockworks Sliders, Old Man Emu 3" lift with 885 coils (with 1/2" top plate spacer and Dakar Leaf packs), Hi-lift mounted in bed with 4XRAC mounts, WT floor liners, other stuffs
    It's not too hard to get the trans into temp check mode, before you start draining fluid try it out a few times to be sure you can do it correctly. Keep in mind the Toyota WS fluid is $7-8 a quart and you'll need around 3-4 quarts to do the drain/refill. My plan is to change it over the next couple oil changes to eventually get a good amount of new fluid in there.
