You have overcomplicated a tire issue to the point Cooper, Nitto, BF Goodrich and General have posted they are closing shop to not have to hear about another possible issue with your truck.

 

Accidentally got a big gulp of diesel fuel once. You will do whatever is humanly possible to assure yourself THAT will never happen again. WAY worse than gasoline. Taste stays with you for several days.

There is only ONE way to know how a tire will fit. And that ISN'T sharing info on the internet. BTDT got all sorts of false and misleading info.

Get a tire, put it on the rim, bolt it to the truck, and LOOK at it.

 

This. You can't fix or know anything without there actually being a problem. Shit sitting in the living room isn't getting it done and seen if there could actually possibly even remotely be a problem. Only way to fix shit is to fuck it up first.

For that price, just do it.

 

The "oily" nature of diesel makes it coat your throat/stomach. You taste it over and over. To this day, the smell of diesel fuel makes me ill.
