Tire Rack and Discount carry them. Tire Rack now has an option where if you are close to a hub you can go down there and pick them up. No shipping. I have a hub about 13 miles from me and it's slick.

That is why I buy craftsman tools at pawn shops. They have the real tools that Craftsman made not the cheap shit they make now. Sears is closing here or already closed. No reason to buy their branded shit anymore. By time you get to one to trade a tool out you could have bought a good one locally.

 

Craftsman was basically the only thing keeping them going. Now they've let Stanley kill the golden goose. It's over, people.

The guys on Garage Journal have said they have gotten snap on's not that are made overseas too. Whole tool industry going to shit.

 

Tire place came and got me when they installed my 285's. Guy said this tire won't fit. I told him yes it would. Him:no it won't. I said mount the fucking tire and load the suspension. He did and guess what? The MF fits.

Assholes.

 

Yeah Snap On has been making shit overseas now for at least 4 years that I can remember. Matco and Mac have been for longer. Cornwell is/was still all USA last time I heard.

Snap On swears they are producing quality steel in their tools and there is no drop in quality. Dunno though....

 

Been there. Like to make the waiver a have to sign into a paper airplane and toss it back to them when I leave.

I've had this happen multiple times on different vehicles. Last time we took my BF's Runner in for new tires we ended up having to have them mount them on the wheels and then take them home and put them on ourselves because they said with his skids and sliders they didn't feel like they could safely lift the vehicle.

 

There are 3 total of us, 2 are full-time and 2 part-time, boss is salary and I'm hourly. The other guy is a firefighter.
The stupid questions never end!

I'm just glad it comes and goes. I just want people to try a little before thinking it's a major issue. Oh! And actually "think" too lol

Yup, we are in a spare bus. At least this one has enough seats. We need 8 seats minimum because we are overloaded at one of our schools already (always late because there are so many kids) and this one has 10. (For those that don't know, SPED buses carry small loads, because SPED often requires going all over the city because certain schools have certain programs. We don't have nice, close runs like regular ed. 2-4 kids is normal. Out of that one school, we now have 13.)
