Yes I like you have 5100's with Eibach coils and they work fine for now but will eventually wear out especially since I got them second hand andaleady had some miles on them. It is exactly as you said you go from something that's relatively affordable to rediculously exspensive. Crap just a decent priced modest mid travel setup and your up to at least 3K sorry I just don't have that laying around to burn up

I've done the exact same thing. I've looked at 5100's, coil springs, and add a leaf springs, damn that adds up fast, forget adding UCA's and then bigger tires. Looks like I'll have to remain at stock height, maybe if I can find a used stock setup from a 3rd gen I could afford to get a little more ground clearance. I would never be able to afford or justify the cost of a King setup. I have Champaign taste with cheap beer funds.

comparitively you can talk to Marie at Headstrong and she can put together a pretty reasonable package. Of urse this all depends on what your budget is and what you consider reasonable She can put you together a decent yet basic package for under $700 I believe it just depends on what you want

I have a hard time letting this go I've had it for about 17 years and built it from the ground up including most of the paint work but I sure could build a hell of a truck

He's been poking around the North West threads a little but otherwise pretty quiet. Never met him in person but he's gonna help me do some work on my truck in a few weeks so as far as I know he's all good.

Something you could look at is getting 265/75R16 (though I believe the sports come with 17's) so that'd be 265/70r17 IIRC. That will give a little more aggressive look and slight clearance. Then 5100's on stock coils with an AAL would be $400 give or take. Put 5100's on Eibachs that get 1.5-1.75" lift and you don't have to have UCA's. That'd be about that $700 range. @Wheeler's Off-Road, Inc is in my neck of the woods and they're great guys. I have never worked with Marie at @HeadStrong Off-Road but I hear nothing but great things. They are moving and not responding to emails currently. I think next week they're back but check their website.

Spot on I have 5100's set at .85 with eibach coils and it gave me 2.5" lift, 3 leaf progressive aal from wheelers gave me about 3" (way more than advertised but legit) And extended shocks in the rear. It rides better than stock and functions very well. If I do again I may substitue OME coils for the eibachs for a little more lift and allowing strutts to be set at 0
