It's Friday, y'all. I have zero motivation to be at work yet I'm meeting a big potential client this morning.

What are everyone's plans this weekend? It's looking like I'll be out in Queen Creek tomorrow night for the lantern fest. Going to meet a chick from a dating app to, uhm... look at lanterns I guess?

Do they have booze at Schnepf Farms? Or should I just get shitfaced before meeting a girl for the first time? I'm usually more charming after a few beers...

Well, that's the OBVIOUS advantage if there's alcohol sales there... She seems "fun" too, so I'm hopeful it's not another miserable date. Been way too many of those lately.

Being single again at 38 has been... an interesting experience. Whoever invented Tinder needs to simultaneously be bought a drink and falcon punched in the giblets.

But nobody gives a sheeeaat about my love life. I remember mention of a Four Peaks run tomorrow? When was that going to happen?

 

That was me. I'm running it Early AM. Like 4-5am followed by the Brown's Peak Hike. Then fishing after and/or if my brother and I are too tired after we're hitting up the bar.

 

I don't think I'd date if I got a divorce. At least not for a long time. I'd just get hookers when I'm feeling the need to dick someone down (or call @XPOTRPR or @snowtank). For how much money you can spend trying to get laid at bars, buying drinks, dinner, whatever, it's cheaper to get hookers.

 

Hookers? Nah. Escorts are where it's at. Big difference in teeth count and potential scabies exposure.
