I'd be good for a meetup as long as it's planned a couple weeks in advance.

Seems like we have quite a few in the northwest arkansas area. I'll have to keep an eye out for you all.

I'm southwest Missouri so if y'all stayed around Northwest arkansas that'd be sweet.

I was just wondering if any of the roads would be flooded this weekend. I called the visitor center and they weren't much help. Supposed to camp there near the buckhorn trail head.

I was there on Monday. It was VERY wet and it has only rained more since then. You do know it's supposed to storm tomorrow and keep raining on Sunday, right?

Checking in. How's it going in NWA? Haven't had a drop here though they were predicting 5-7".

The flooding is pretty bad. I think Benton county declared an emergency today. While the rain is still coming down they are advising people to not leave their houses unless they absolutely have to. We had some friends who had their house flood unfortunately.

Devils Den Hold On Tight Trip:
    -Rained Friday night some
    -hiked Saturday morning/afternoon
-got rained on/hailed on at the very end of the hike..
-Saturday evening we lazed around, an exciting down burst happened for about 30 seconds. I guess we tied our tarps down good enough haha.
-Saturday night at 1:30am it hailed and rained heavily for about an hr.
-Sunday: packed up, hiked some more and headed out.
-Overall a good and thankfully safe trip. We were prepared for the heavy rains and to leave if need be, but I think our prayers worked!
