If ORs and Pros are showing up with leaks, my guess is they'll be included eventually.

That's why I said if you're not on the list, check for leaks anyway and if leaking, get it fixed then it gets documented.

How about the thousands of owners that don't creep the pages of Tacoma World and do not and will not know about the recall until this summer when Toyota mails out the letters? Relax and have a cold beverage.

So far I say we're doing good getting this recall early . Not like the 2nd gen I had that took forever for the leaf spring recall that could rupture your gas tank etc etc...

You'd think they would use the Toyota owners app tp send out these notifications as well.

Better get on the phone and contact the Tacoma owners that don't creep the pages of Tacoma World. You better get started... they could have a lock up and hurt themselves. Chop, chop!! Get -er- Done!

Toyota dealerships don't have this many cars on the lot for loaners. They are going to have to dip into the rental fleet, so:

    Mitsubishi Mirage's
    [IMG]

    Chrysler 200's

and of course PT Cruisers brought out of retirement.

No I quit the sh!t back in 2000. Just amazes me reading how some guys get all worked up and do not read the below PDF which states Toyota will send out letters this summer to owners that are affected by this recall.

    https://techinfo.toyota.com/techInf...n/techinfo/html/prelogin/docs/cp/h0gtofaq.pdf

What is Toyota going to do?

    Answer is....
    Starting in mid-June
    2017
, Toyota will send an owner notification by first class mail advising owners to make
an appointment with their authorized Toyota dealer
    . Toyota
dealers will check the rear differential for any oil
leakage. If no leaks are found, all fasteners will be re
-tightened. If leakage is found, the rear differential carrier
gasket will be replaced with a new one, and new fasteners will be installed. If rear differential components are
damaged, the rear differential carrier assembly will be replaced with a new one. This remedy will be at no
    cost to customers.

(Is it June yet? I think not)

I was wondering if my 285's on my Ray10 wheels will rub on a Yaris?

Not sure but you can lash a deer to the hood and stuff one into the back of a four door. Blood will foul the interior but I tend not to care when doing this. My insurance rider for rentals and loaners knows I can be an asshole.

    YMMV
