How are you liking the Interco tires? Been anywhere cool with them?

Hole-in-the-Rock Trail so far is the only trip on them...managed to squeeze that in before the bachelor weekend and wedding...hoping to hit a trail or two before AK then they will get some more love

only con i've seen so far is the handling on pavement...you can definitely notice a difference. tires seem a bit narrower than recent tires i've had and the tread pattern is not made for onroad performance so it takes a little to get used to it. a little squirrelly at first

they were amazing off road and i feel very confident on the sidewall performance. it would have been awesome to be around this weekend for the snow, but i'll have to wait on snow performance analysis until later.

the larger voids do grab larger rocks than i've been used to, so you do notice some louder thuds as rocks kick up and hit the underside

overall, i'm looking forward to more time with them...they will be fun to have

    long time coming.

the change to the InSain Fab bed rack made this project a simpler reality.

similar concept as the softtopper where the sides and back can roll up. an added feature that was a great surprise was the long back that goes down to the bed floor. with the tire gate, more dust comes in when on the trail and this will help to keep things cleaner.

And while on the topic of that trip, here's a few more I have available to share...

hanging with a 60 with spring creek in the background
    LRM_EXPORT_20170708_184814.jpg

Coming up red elephant, the jeep got over too far and the trail gave way. We couldn't go forward or backward without sliding more off the trail. The only option I saw was to link a pulley off an uphill tree so I could keep the jeep from slipping further. With the side pull, we were able to back the jeep up and then pull forward back on the solid trail.

    LRM_EXPORT_20170708_184129.jpg

In between red elephant and Bill moore lake is mill creek. A bumpy and tight loop which brings you back to some old cabins. Either the trail gets tighter or I get wider haha. This was a cool section through and under some tight trees.
