I ran out a month ago and dont want to pay the crazy prices either. I have propane (sucks!!). If you feel like taking a ride, drive down to Bernardsville and all along the side of Rt.202 there are a TON of logs from trees the state cut down to clear for powerlines. Im gonna take some. I work down here, so I jsut gotta get my ass in gear one day and do it. I have a few logs that I need to split still, just covered with a foot of snow still...

If I ever get a log with a major knot, I just break out the chainsaw

get a Stihl saw next time!!! I have had mine since 2003 and never TOUCHED it. Even after my buddy put bad gas in it with about 5 times the amount of 2-stroke oil than required. Starts and runs like a champ! You take yours to the Handyman on rt-10?

no, a buddy who does "tree work" lookin at it, i dont think he knwo what he doin, so i will need a place to take it to. its a McCullough thought it to be good, but this year runs like shit, cleaned out carb all that nonsense, but it seems its a valve adjust setting issue. we will see stihl seems to be very reputable and worth it.

millionaires, i wouldn't doubt there are a few billionaires there, those houses are ridiculous, well not a house, that would insult them, ESTATES.....

Thanks a lot for the info. This will be very helpful. I am still a little hesitant about heading down there for the first time without anyone who has been there before. Let me know if anyone is planning on heading here anytime soon, or anywhere else a little closer than north jersey. thanks again for the link!
