Well I just finished my own raptor style grille and got some requests to do a write up.

Rivet mesh insert is sold here https://www.ebay.com/itm/291187474126 This requires destruction of the factory grille and very precise cutting

There is an alternative option to this which is buying the shell with the insert I got mine from URAUTOPARTS on eBay. If you want chrome try 24HOURAUTOPARTS. I would recommend messaging both asking when they would get them back in stock. Usually he will order another batch. It should be posted in a few weeks.

Next you want to order the letters from https://www.customcargrills.com/Grill-Lettering.asp

I recommend lining the letters out on a level to ensure that they are straight. Then take a couple of pieces of duct tape and cover the letters. Finally attach the duct tape to the grille where you want it.

I attached the letters using J-B weld that can be purchased here: J-B Weld 8270 KwikWeld Industrial Professional Size - 10 oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005UYVIXO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_WCS5GKEnFqdtv

I recommend doing one letter at a time because the grille mesh is a bit "arched" which makes it hard to do it all at once

Finally let dry for 30 min and peel off the duct tape!

All and all this costs about $200-$250 if you go the premade grille route

$120-$170 if you do the insert

It looks really good! I think the chrome fasteners make it a bit flashy for me personally but painting them black would make it perfect IMO.

Really good work though. Any pictures installed? Cost? I want the trd pro grill but at 400$ this might be a good alternative.

The cost is at the bottom of the post and I will add pictures installed when I get back to my truck on Wednesday! :)

Just take note: you have a 2013, he has a 2005. Different grills means you can't order exactly off his materials list.

I can appreciate the amount of work put into it. Just a little too bedazzled for my taste. Black bolts would look good.

Looks good man, I like the lettering. I think black fasteners would be a nice touch instead of chrome. It reminds me too much of the XD wheels I see at discount tire lol. But again I can see how this would appeal to certain people.

Yeah if you went this route over the trd pro grille you can pop out the chrome and paint them! Super easy!

Nice work. I miss my raptor grille. May have to think about giving this a try.
